I must confess my secret ... I am a snob white - well now you know my most intimate secret. I only use white candles, white dishes, white towels, white flowers (although I've been known to buy colorful tulips) and white linens. Nothing is more classic than white. White plates fixed on the food perfectly. I can not have a good sleep on something other than white sheets and white candles and white towels are absolute.
In the interior I love white highlights how good architecture, and any object in the room that has "good bones" The white walls are a good backdrop for art objects and paintings that are placed in the room. - white walls give emphasis on the line items that are juxtaposed in front of them.
White paint chamber can have surprising depth. When I design a completely white room I use several different shades of white to highlight architectural details, or I superimposed the space with solid forms in different tones and textures of white, and then uses some strong color contrasts to describe and put the white in the home. My white all time favorite is - Benjamin Moore paint White Cloud. It is a very soft white and easygoing. It has a chameleon effect - taking the colors of what is planned next to it and the change in tone at different times of the day. Not all white is white as snow.
